Fukubukuro!

Fukubukuro is japanese and means "lucky bag" or "mystery bag". It's a japanese New Year's Day custom. Shops pack up bags filled with different things and you can purchase these bags, but you don't know what it contains. Most of the time luckybags come in different sizes. They are a great deal for both the customer and the shop! For the shop it's a great way to get rid of old stuff, and even though the customer doesn't know what he buys exactly, he can be sure to get a huge discount.

Most of the more known lolita brands make luckybags/luckypacks twice a year, in winter and in summer. Innocent World even made luckypacks for halloween!
There is only a limited amount and they sell very quickly. By purchasing a luckypack you can get great brand pieces for less money, and if you don't like what you got, you can sell or trade it on the lolita sales community

Baby the stars shine bright came out with several winter luckypacks this winter, and I really liked the "Baby Knit and Panier Set", but I already participated a GO for petticoats from malco modes, so I ordered the "Muffler and Gloves Set". You can never have too many gloves and mufflers! This set contains a muffler, gloves, a headbow, socks and an eco-bag. I got the black colourway (:
