Stamp Out Prejudice....

.... Hatred and Intolerance Everywhere.

On november 26th 2007 a girl named Sophie Lancaster was kicked to death.
On their way home she and her boyfriend where walking through a park.
There they were attacked by several teenagers.
As a result of Sophie's injuries she went into a coma and never woke up again.
All that just because they dressed differently and stood out, they were part of the gothic subculture.

It's terrible how cruel people can be and how full of prejudices they are.
I know how it is to be "different" and how people treat you, I made several bad experiences in the past.

As I mentioned in my first post I am not only into Lolita, I am (and have been for years now) also into metal and dress that way. When I go out, no matter if I'll go to the grocery store, to university or just meeting friends, I will either be wearing one of my fancy dresses or jeans in combination with a band-t-shirt and a studded belt.
On the one hand there are the funny things that happen to you like people changing to the other side of the road or things like that, but on the other hand I also have been thrown things at, and that's not okay.
I can live with being cat-called or given strange looks, but I am not okay with physical attacks.

The Sophie Lancaster Foundation aims to educate people about being tolerant, which is a great thing. My boyfriend and me just donated.
